About SPABA
Established in February 2005 under the auspices of Special Olympics Philippines.
Formal organization to propagate the ten-pin bowling athletes
Members Parents, teachers, therapists and volunteers of the Special Athletes and the Special athletes themselves.

GOALS
- To promote ten-pin bowling among special athletes
- Conduct sport clinics and skill development programs with the assistance of coaches and national team players on a year round basis
- Establish bowling chapters nationwide
- Prepare a team for World Games and invitational games
- Develop team for local competitions
- Link up with special athletes with bowling centers, associations, coaches, instructors, national team members, Special Olympics chapters, fellow enthusiasts, sponsors and media groups
- Recruit special athletes in the training and competitions

Participated at Eastwood Bowling Center, Libis, Q.C. in June 18, 2006
2006 Special Olympics Shanghai Invitational Games
National Special Olympics Bowling Championships
Organized the event held at the Sta. Lucia East Bowling Center in July 2005

Held at the Powerbowl, Power Plant Mall on July 2002
ACTIVITIES
- Tasked to organize the national Special Olympics bowling championships
- Organizing bowling tournaments such as the SpecialAthletes Celebrity Bowl in March 18, 2006
- Holds weekly bowling trainings for beginners and advanced special students - trainings are two types: recreational and competition; trainings are currently held at Powerbowl, Rockwell Center in Makati City and at times at the Sta. Lucia East Bowling Center, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, Cainta, Rizal
